Two New CPU Fans / Coolers - 22 Jun 2009

The NH-U12P Special Edition i7 Cooler from Noctua gives superb, efficient cooling of the Intel® i7 processors, using two 120mm fans and an easy-to-use SecuFirm2™ mounting system along with Noctua's pro-grade NT-H1 thermal compound. It's available as an option on our i7 Extreme Gaming PC.

In addition, we now stock the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 CPU Cooler which is an excellent, quiet CPU cooling fan for Intel and AMD processors. This is an option on all our Gaming PCs.

New i7 CPUs - Faster with Better Over-clocking Potential - 10 Jun 2009

The Core™ i7 950 replaces the i7 940, upping the clock speed of each core to 3.06GHz, while the Core™ i7 975 Extreme Edition replaces the i7 965, increasing the clock speed of each core to 3.33GHz.

Both the Intel Core i7 975 Extreme Edition and the i7 950 have the much improved D0 stepping, which the Core i7 920 has been transitioned to over the past several months. The new Core i7 D0 steppings sport tweaks to the memory controller on the chip allowing for higher DDR3 memory overclocking and improved thermals.

All these new Intel i7 processors are in stock now and all are an option in our monster iBUILD™ Intel Power Gaming Extreme i7 Computer.
